Description: Poor orange bird---he can't sing and can only communicate with thoughts. He tries to befriend a crow and rooster but they make fun of him. Then a huge kitty tries to eat him! What's a silent orange bird to do? It gets really lonely without friends. Maybe if he thinks really hard someone will "hear" him and become his friend.
Message from Round Rock Womans Club: Everyone wants to be accepted and have friends....especially the cheepless orange bird in this story.
