He is praising his daughter for negitive behavior, and this makes the mother look like a bad guy! Extremely short too!

I do not understand the point of the whole play. Also I do not see how parents telling a child two different things is a good lesson for children.

Good Job Sara! I know how hard it can be to write a script, but You did a very good job. I do think you could add quite a bit more to it to make it a bit longer.

This script doens't seem like it is finished. There is so much more that needs to be done to it to tie it all together.
Sprinkling? (Rated by: Phill) Posted October 1 2003

What's wrong with immersion? Sprinkling may be fine with you,but it's not scriptural. The Biblical way to be baptized is in fact by immersion, hence the scripture in Romans 6:4. I've never attended a funeral where they buried the deceased by sprinkling dirt on the corpse, have you? That being said, I think the script was unique, but definitely cute.

a kid would not intend a hidden message in a play. It is not about baptism, it is about not obeying your parents. I think the author should keep working. As Virgil says, you should work with her/him a little bit. Why do people always read into these things too much; it is about what it says.
Good work kids. (Rated by: robin) Posted September 27 2003

I like the idea of kids writing scripts for kids. Gotta try it.

I'm not a proponent of immersion baptism myself. I think that's better left to the more enthusiastic denominations. That being said, I love the idea of Christian youngsters writing their own puppet plays. My compliments to the young author.

Are we advocating for immersion, here? 'Cause sprinkling's fine with me!

Melissa, please work with your children. They need more instruction.
