When Is A Bear Not A Bear?

Description: This skit teaches kids about being real and true to themselves and God. Don't put on an act - just be real! They also learn a little bit about Australia and Koala Bears ... or should that be "marsupials"?

Jeff, this skit is awesome. I volunteer at a public Nature Center and would love to use this to teach about marsupials. I just need to change a few things like Christian into "good person" and then I can use it. Hope that's ok because I know the kids would love this!!!!

I really like this skit. It has a great moral theme for the kids, will capture their attention, and is fun for both the audience and the puppeteer!

I relly liked the fact that koalas are not bears, and the fact that I should always try to be myself.

Very Good, but it is not easy to find a Koala puppet. Any suggestions either on finding one or converting something else into a koala?

I used this script for a puppet show while babysititng a group of kids. I really think it's cute! I had a koala bear puppet, so I searched for "koala" and this came up! Very cute! I like the "Mel Gibson" part. Very inspirational.

So what do I "Koala" ya in the morning? Yuk yuk! Really funny stuff, this play, and I do think kids could learn about Australia at the same time as this good message. Cheers, mate!
