Great script with a great message. But children aren't into just talking. This would be a great script to put on for adults, but what adults whatch puppets? And how do you portray the cage with the birds? I really did like it, just don't see how applicable it is. |

The concept imagery is good, but Jesus didnt pay the devil anything. He paid the debt of our sin, the 'payment' was to the Father to satisfy His anger against sin. So bad theology can confuse. The cross was about the Father and the Sons obedience, in it the devil was defeated! Amen :) |

Doctrinally incorrect, this gives Satan more power than is worthy of him. Christ's blood was shed to appease the righteousness of God, Satan had nothing to do with it. I believe we need to be extremely careful not to tread on the side of error...especially with children. |

Ransom theory is heresy. Jesus did not buy us from the devil; he was punished for our sins and ransomed our life from death. If the cross was a payment to the devil, satan would still own Jesus unless God was a liar & indian giver. Either way bad theology to confuse kids with. |

She was in the main service and was listening to what happen to her pastor on his way to Easter service. |

Theology Problem

I will use this very soon. It moved me and is sure to move my "flock." On the criticism side, I might tone down the scarieness of the idea of mankind in a cage. Or maybe that's the point. I'll fiddle with it and maybe I'll write you'all an e-mail to tell you how this play went over with the kids. Thank you. |
