This is so strange. I was looking for something for children's church about spiritual warfare. I feel like whoever wrote this was probably smoking pot at the same time. The secondary messages here are horrible, how the teacher (?) beat children and ridiculed them.

All that talk about steak, chicken and potatos makes me hungry.
very bizarre (Rated by: Anonymous) Posted January 12 2006

one of the oddest things i've ever read, and the values taught are even odder. hit someone becasue he's being mean? tell someone he's frail and weak to make him feel better? sorry, i don't get it!

salvation plan? (Rated by: Curt) Posted June 9 2004

Rating: 2

The salvation plan could be a little more descriptive. Love is not the only concept to salvation its also repentance.

Violent, does not promote good manners or even good behaviour, very poor script!

This is cnfusing! It is so hard to follow
it's ok....... (Rated by: Anonymous) Posted July 9 2003

uhm....this wasn't the greatest. I don't think that a teacher should teach a child about God's love by beating them or by telling them that they aren't as good as other students...it' wasn't very funny either.
big sticks (Rated by: Virgil) Posted July 1 2003

Sometimes you have to be beat over the head with a message, but this may be too literal. It's clever, but remember that Teddy Roosevelt also said "speak softly."

this script seemed to jump around a lot and not have much focus.
Maybe...... (Rated by: David Marriott) Posted May 4 2003

with like um..ok...like..like two or three big tweaks I could use this at my church. I agree, there are definitely mixed messages and I don't think that the salvation was very genuine or well explained. We don't want to confuse kids about salvation
um...ya (Rated by: ariana) Posted May 4 2003

This doesn't seem on the same level as other scripts you've written. The messages are mixed. Love and violence never mix. Choosing favorites and singling children out is not a good teaching style.
This is fun and good message (Rated by: Lester) Posted May 3 2003

My kids enjoy a little punch-and-judy shenanigans like this. I especially liked the message. Though we are all loved by Jesus, that doesn't mean we are all the same. It's good to recognize our differences. Mrs. Potato is a good teacher, indeed.

Is this a joke? am I suppose to use this script to teach kids it's ok to beat each other with a stick?
This is a Christian skit, right? (Rated by: Markus Wolf) Posted November 13 2002

I somehow question Mrs Potato's beating Mr Steak with a stick while telling of Jesus' love. I do like the names though. Very abstract.

Though I think this is very funny, I'm uncomfortable with the idea of talking produce. One suspects bewitchment in such cases and must be on guard. Careful when you're funny.

Not an easy lesson for some kids, but good for others.
Nicely Done (Rated by: Rachel) Posted August 1 2002

Kids pick on each other for good reasons. It's important to use the negative experiences as lessons...hard lessons. Every child has a special gift, even if it never shows itself.

A puppet play this good comes once in a lifetime. Thank you Jesus! For making food and puppet plays so delicious.! Whoops.
