this is in reference to the last post on Oct. 16th. I just thought you might want to search the scriptures a little more about non- christians marrying christians (1corinthians 6:14) and about homosexuality (Romans 2:21-24;Lev.18:22 and 20:13; 1corinthians 6:9-10).

this play makes it too vague into what its talking about when the couples are "odd" and marrying. It could be referring to a christian marrying a non-christian or homosexual marriage, both which are not prohibited in scripture.

This script gives the opposite impression to what was intended. The ravings of the old timer couldn't be better written to portray Christianity as irrelevant, old fashioned and pernickety - the opposite of what it really is. I like your creativity, but come one fellas, you can do better than this.

Not a Christian puppet skit (Rated by: Markus Wolf) Posted December 7 2002

Seems to me you're taking great pains to take scriptures out of context to make the Bible seem ridiculous and irrelevent. Since I'm looking for Christians skits on creation I rate this a...

This is a perfect way to teach pre-schoolers about the so-called theory of evolution. If a sea cucumber can't mate with a bowl of chili, how can a man mate with a monkey? 'Nuff said.

I agree with the message of this play, but it it probably more appropriate for teens. This inter-species love story is too graphic for anyone under 12. I love the "underwater restaurant" setting though!!

This one's a little silly. I don't know if we agree with some of the messages you seem to be making. The links don't work either. I'm not sure talking chili is an appropriate puppet in my youth group's puppetry group.

I'd love to see Old Tymer get together with Gramma (everybody has one)! Bet they'd have a hoot and holler together. And we'd all be the better for it. God bless you.

That Old Tymer sure can go on and on. I'm going to try and make these puppets over the weekend, maybe in time for next Sunday.

Finally a play that the parents can watch! Old Tymer really tries to give these two lovebirds a gift, but they're blinded by the romance bug. Romance will mean nothing in Hell.
