Unto Us A Child Is Born

Description: When a new baby comes home, it can be a confusing time for any older brother or sister. This is a cautionary tale about what can happen if parents don't take the time to explain things properly.

I just found this one -- what a powerful, well-written, beautifully plotted puppet play! The use of flashback is smooth, the story movement is liquid, the whole thing is like a great gift from God. Awesome.

I had an awful time telling if this was a joke, or not (puppet sex, prescription drugs, vomit, etc.). I don't think the author understands the targeted audience. If it was a joke, than it might just work for an adult audience. I love a wholesome puppet show and I also love sick puppet humour like "Crank Yankers". Author, please pick one.

Surprising indeed. Especially the way that the hospital is depicted. Where are the nurses???

This piece of work was clearly channeled from the Lord. God bless the author(s) for shedding light on this confusing issue.
Awesome! Really funny too. (Rated by: Barry) Posted May 2 2002

Wowie. The kind of sparkling dialogue we haven't heard in years. Really progressive approach to what might have been routine material. I think the staging challenges would be a real way to exercise a young mind. I'm not so sure about the intimacy issues in act 2. I might cut that part out.

I see a bit of a message in here somewhere but this looks nearly impossible to preform and a few things were a bit surprising at best.

Edgy. But powerful. And haunting. In a good way.

Too big for my church, but I'd love to see it performed.
