I haven't tried out this script yet but like the look of it (could end up as a 10!). I've found the ones with physical humour work best as we have a wide age range audiance due to our summer outreach being at the local park. Looking forward to doing this one and reading more like it!!

Thanks so much for posting this. We're doing a lesson for our preschoolers on 'children obey your parents' and I was really hoping to do a puppet show. This one looks like it has just the right balance of humor, good message, and interesting dialog. Thanks! Laurie

It's our 1st yr incorporating puppets into the bi-monthly chapel mtgs...and this was our first show. I already asked the director to put it on file for next year. Thank you so much!

I liked the skit very much. It is a little longer than I usually use since I have to use older kids as puppeteers. The content and humor is great. I plan to use a spritzer bottle of water on the kids near the end. thanks

Be Just Critic (Rated by: Curt King) Posted November 30 2004

Just because it is Christmas does not mean I have to look at a Christmas skit. This is probably one of the best skits on the page. Just because it has nothing to do with Christmas does not make it bad.
Why is this play getting so many "hits" this time of year? (Rated by: The Critic) Posted November 30 2004

Rating: 5

"First Sin" has nothing to do with Christmas or anything Christmas-related. The Critic wonders why it is getting nearly 100 hits a day? Ed Sehr, you are the author. Anything to say about this? Your friend, The Critic.

This script comes alive when you perform it. Our puppet team has performed it three times so far, three different places. The kids LOVE the humor. I suggest using baby powder to be the "flour" though. The audiences really respond well to this script and it keeps the kids' attention. Good Job Mr. Sehr!

In this play is a great deal of wisdom. Eve not only ate the tree food, but gave some to Adam as well. I wonder how things would be if Adam had refused. Our wives would be even more of a handful!
