Rules Rules Rules

Description: This play teaches that a person is a child of God because God loves them and saves them, not by keeping rules ... especially not 3000 of them! Good script about God's love for us.

I thought the play was pretty good, but I thought it could use a little more explanation about how and why we become children of God. I think that this will be necessary because I will be presenting it to new church goers who do not know much of the Bible yet.

Great skit brother... finally a skit I don't have to translate to the KJV. We are using these skits in public and have an average of 100 people who hear them each time we do.

I think the setting and overall play is good and funny but the actual point seems to direct children to think that the Bible has no authority and yes God does love us but we show him love through obeying his rules which are layed out in the Word.

I am the Sunday school Superintendent at my church. I really appreciate puppet scripts like these. I thank you for letting me use this script and others like it. I found this script to be funny, intertaining, and a good moral and Godly message. Brett Superintendent at the Gospel Church of God in Jesus Christ in Marrowbone, WV.

As we are using the 10 commandments for some of our teaching, I thought this was quite appropriate. Not sure about using the old style scripture though.

This is a great script. The script will help the children understand the way to heaven is not through rules but only because Jesus loves us and died for us.

I have used you as a resource many times for our youth puppet group. We always enjoy them and find a song to go right along with it for the puppets to perform. Do you have a sight that gives skits for the kids to perform, I guess you might call them dramas? Please let me know. Thanks!

I see why this is such a popular play! Very funny. Very good treatment of the material. I wish my personal hero PAUL was in it! He did it all. Maybe I'll INSPIRE someone (hint, hint) to write a skikt about him?! Just hoping. Great.

This is a good script, but I felt like salvation is presented a little uncleear. True we are his children because of him dying on the cross, but not everyone is a child of God. We must believe or put our faith on what he did for us. This leads children to think they do not need to believe just that it happened is enough. Thanks for listening.
