Is God Real?

Description: Ernie wants to be a super-hero sidekick when he grows up but he doesn't realise that super-heroes aren't real! Jemma tells him that she's going to be like her dad because he is real and helps real people. Could be a good Father's Day script.

Great Idea, but... (Rated by: Anonymous) Posted June 5 2007

A lot is over the heads of this age group. They don't talk like two kids.MAKE SURE YOU DON'T READ IT WORD FOR WORD, there are errors: "...re-think your plans because I they won't work at all!"(eg.)There is a song that goes "I've got a sup sup sup sup super friend, Jesus is his name..."

Very good premise. You may want to consider that most kids in this age group have not seen any but cartoon Batman. Hopefully they have not seen the movies as they are not rated for this group. Thanks for developing and sharing a relevant and fun idea for a puppet skit.

Excellent idea, well scripted (Rated by: Bruce Levitan) Posted January 26 2004

Thanks for a really great script that kids will easily understand and relate to. perhaps change the last part so that the person Jemma wants to help is a real "superhero" - Jesus (could play on invisibility).

This is a simple skit but has a great message. It will be used for our childrens church. Our main topic is believing without seeing and this skit will be a lead-in to another skit.

Exactly what I needed to use with a lesson on real life Christians being heros. Gideon reference. Thanks

A good example of a super hero doing tricks vs. a real person helping real people.
