That was good. I can defenitely use that for my VBS. I like the principle of the Bible being the True Book. Thank you.

| kids, be careful

Teachers need to be so careful about what is passed on to kids as good literature-what a good message in this one. As to Dumas, I prefere his "The Count of Monte Cristo" and as to Dickens, I prefer "Oliver" (don't care for carol). Anyway, good message, maybe a bit to deep for target audience but that is fixable.

Well, the *idea* is right, with one small problem: what kids read fiction and think that it means to be actually, literally true? That's hard to believe. But this script is still a very good reminder of how much we can all benefit by being better readers, though.

This script comes dangerously close to denouncing literature. It doesn't quite go there, but could easily send a kid that direction. There's probably a better way to talk about the Bible as truth. This is also a very "talkie" script. Drama/comedy/good story telling is about action, almost always.
