Wowie! Powerful and Contemporary

The tone is so surprisingly realistic that I feel I might have heard this in my own house (if we had a computer). Sad but true. A message of value and a sign of hope for the future. |

A difficult topic handled well!

I've never seen this topic portrayed like this. A great lesson. Nice work. |

Pornography is the devil's tool

I really think you hit the nail on the head. All the public schools do is train our children to find pornography. I caught my own son looking at pictures of women and animals. The devil tempts us in many ways. |

Such a good message

I think the naysayers of this puppet script are overlooking its powerful positive message! There are very few scripts that pack this much punch. I have been in the puppet "biz" for 24 years so believe me when I say this is a good script and a good script is worth its weight in gold. |

I think I agree

Difficult material, handled with an authentic tone of realism. I am concerned, however, about what young audiences might imagine is on the computer. Nothing terrible, I'm sure, but still. |

Profound

I was hoping for more water in this skit. Even the sound of the surf would have helped to make it more real. But the message was rightious. |

Much needed message for these days that we live in!

I think the age group maybe should be adjusted, but other than that, I think it is a topic that must be adressed not ignored. |

Short, but a great message

It's great to bring our "computer" age onto the stage. It's something the kids can really take a bite out of. |

I don't let my daughters use a computer. I don't want them to know about dinosaurs and pornography. When the time comes, I will teach them the proper way to handle reptiles, but I don't want them knowing anything devilish. |

Honestly I think this is for more of 9-13 year olds. If it was askit that would be good too. But I'm a youth group leader and I would probly not show my kids this, justbecause some dont know what porn is,so I would not reccomend introducing it. But otherwise pretty good. |

A swing but a miss

The topic chosen for the script needs to be addressed but this script has a clumsy over-the-head preachiness that would likely alienate as many as it convicts. Avoid ending scripts with a monologue mini-sermon. Truth is accepted more readily by the listener when they have uncovered the lesson, not when it has been force fed to them. |

Sexist

I have never met a christian man that talked to his wife the way the dad in this play talks to his wife. Jesus teaches us to treasure and empower woman. "quit blubbering....go see about dinner". I was VERY disappointed. |

In my opinion it sends the message that everything we do good is so that we can "get into heaven" and it says that if he is bad he will not "get into heaven" as a christian i am appalled that anyone would tell a child that because i KNOW that this is not the message of Jesus Christ. Our mission here on earth is not to see how we can get into heaven. |

It seems many Christians are more concerned with what other Christians would do than with what Jesus would do.There is no message of forgiveness, redemption, beauty, transformation, grace, justice,or mercy in this script-just control and condemnation.I would not want my family to look like this dysfuntional one. Quit your blubbering? How disrespectful! |
