The concept of help out those who are helping us is a great one. However, the script lacks punch or drama.

This is a moralistic play, obviously written by an adult who wants to tell kids to "smarten up" in a heavyhanded manner. It would be much better to have two of the "youth" meet together after the event and decide to send a Thank You to the leaders. Make it lighthearted and fun so kids will get the message in a delightful manner.
