I rated this high because it had good jokes, seemed pretty realistic language, and tastefully made the point of a better option to weirdness. I liked the adaptations for various numbers of people. I made a double-sided pieplate mask on a stick (devil and witch) to be used by the adult who played Mom opposite the two puppets.

Funny. I like being able to dress up puppets or use an animal puppet.

Good script. I know there are good people out there who participate in Halloween, but there are also some frightning people when you think about sending your children out. They say pedophiles and serial killers look like everyone else. The idea of participating in a church festival is a wonderful alternative to the craziness...

This is really a good scipt for puppets. It makes such a good point and point the children in the direction they should go without becoming so long that the smaller children lose interest. It has enough activity in it to keep younger and older children interested. Thank you for sharing it with the world.

I wrote this after halloween when we came across a house that was just too well decorated with scary costumed people using a voice changer to "welcome" people into their garage.I didn't mean to imply non-Christians are all evil-just that there are some scary people out there. Hope you can change it to fit your needs.

I THOUGHT IT WAS A VERY NICE SCRIPT. I CAN NOT FIND GOOD CHRISTIAN SCRIPTS FOR CHURCH. WE WILL PROBABLY BE USING THIS ONE FOR OUR FALL HARVEST PARTY

If I used this script I might change it slightly. It is good to discourage trick and treating, for lots of reasons. However I think it is wrong to imply that non-Christians are evil. They ignore God but that doesn't make them actively evil, I can think of many who have a great love for the people in their community and show that love practically.
