We LOVED these Captain Fork skits. We translated them and used them in Mexico for VBS and we have also used the English scripts in our home church for VBS 2012. We had to shorten them a little, but they are GREAT! Thank you for sharing!

Captain Fork is a Great character, fun & loud (great for getting the kids attention) The Jesus content is well put, easy to understand and not too drawn out. Good ending too. Thanks.
Nearly perfect for our needs! (Rated by: I. Schmidt) Posted September 20 2008

This play is nearly perfect for our needs. The only thing I had to do was to tone down the captain's name calling a bit. Otherwise, what a perfect segue into this miracle in the most entertaining way. Thank you.

Some good content, but I couldn't agree with all the name calling. I know it is a pirate speaking, and I can change out some of those words, but when reading the script as is, it felt a bit negative. I am trying to teach kids to stay away from putting others down, I think using words like matey would be better.
