We did this script without puppets and the congregation really liked this skit. Positive comments we received. Required hardly any props. Had inspired a visitor to take the arts to her church.

Wonderful! A nudge to get ones thinking about where all the fluff of holidays originates (and it's not in the bible)

Great script (Rated by: Paul Zeron) Posted December 8 2003

I love scripts that have a little bite in them. At first I thought it needed to go farther to tell what Christmnas is really about, but I realize that it is best as an introduction to a more direct lesson taught afterwards.

This is really a cool skit, it's funny and good. It shows you what really came from man and what is God's idea.

FANTASTIC!!! (Rated by: Tony) Posted November 6 2005

I love this script. I have only just started working with puppets and this has been easy to work up. I love the pace and the humour. It certainly shows the difference between the real and the human parts of Christmas. I laughed at the first reading of it and if that happens you know your on a winner!

Very good. Shows how the true meaning off christmas is being lost, although the message is not that direct.

Quite fun for older children in the age-range, but perhaps a bit boring for five-year-olds.

Great way to untangle the beauty of Scripture and the beauty of Christmas hymns and pop songs! Excellent segue into the reading of the account of Our Lord's birth.
