Found this a very cute and entertaining way to teach the ten commandments. ONe question though, how do you get a puppet to pose??

Great site and great script (Rated by: Nick Pollack) Posted March 26 2008

Rating: 10

At other sites, I have run across some weak scripts. All I have sampled here are very good. This is the best I've read so far and I give it a "10" for inventiveness and fun ideas.
Great Skit (Rated by: Anonymous) Posted November 12 2007

I have heard this story once before and I truly love the reconciliation portrayed through the entire story. I am so glad it was shared on this wonderful site.

like Top Model for Christian kids (Rated by: Ruby Knight) Posted March 11 2007

Rating: 10

this is like the American show "America's Next Top Model" where the young girls compete to be a star. In this one a model competes to go to Heaven.
A big hit (Rated by: Nate) Posted September 28 2006

Very active (Rated by: Vic & The Crew) Posted March 12 2005

Rating: 10

My "crew" and I are always looking for a fun and active play. We perform for a mixed group - it needs a message and involve the older bunch - and needs fun and flash for the tots. That's why we look for active and thoughful pieces.
Good (Rated by: Anonymous) Posted January 22 2005

Thanks for sharing this
The Ten Commandments -- I love it! (Rated by: Ed) Posted January 21 2005

Sucker for fun scripts (Rated by: Lester) Posted July 14 2004

And this is fun. I'm going to fiddle with the presentation of the 10 commandments and the order which is my one quibble but I will use this if I can find the time! Puppet resources wowo!

Very cute!! I like this saying:I may be a model by day, but I'm a Christian full time!
wrong order, right tone (Rated by: Virgil) Posted June 26 2003

Rating: 8

I'm not sure why the reordering was necessary, but I could feel the truth anyway.

Good interaction. Some of the words are above the targeted age group, but all in all it looks like a wonderful skit. (I already have superbunny!)

The script contains the commandment of not using the Lord's name in vain. So why use it in vain?
Language (Rated by: James) Posted February 27 2003

Rating: 2

Do you really use "Thou shalt .... " with children? It's no wonder the church is called old fashioned.
Just re-read this thing (Rated by: Terry) Posted January 24 2003

Rating: 10

And guess what? It's up first thing Sunday Morning. When it's 10 commandment time, it's time for "Model By Day">
Special Memories :) (Rated by: Jay Kay) Posted December 18 2002

Rating: 9

Oh yeah, bringing back some special memories. Staged this with the Fine Fellows back about 3 years ago. Had a wonderful time. Kids were laughing. Preacher man was loving it. Now that's what I call a special memory!

Some concern (Rated by: David) Posted April 29 2002

Rating: 8

This script is wonderful, except for the language use in one instance. In my church, which admittedly is very conservative, the language issue would not fly. On the other hand, the basis of the script is very good, and a few changes could still get the point across without offending the rest of the church. Nice job.
DISGUSTED (Rated by: Christy) Posted April 29 2002

Rating: 1

i have really enjoyed collecting works from this page, but i must share with you my deep disturbance that you would put GD in a script for any age much less 4-7 years old. there is never an excuse to teach profanity. i suggest you remove or alter this script. your christian friend, christy

The bunny was funny. And the message worked for me. Good work.
Wowie! (Rated by: Barry) Posted April 20 2002

Rating: 10

Can I give you ten reasons why I really like this approach to a valuable lesson? Great work and really fun play.
Language? (Rated by: Jim Robinson) Posted April 18 2002

Rating: 7

This is a great idea about the posing bunny and the 10 commandments etc however I'm not sure the "****it" bit ... would go over too well in church. What about "God, you're good" (or similar)?
Agree with Richard (Rated by: Jeremy) Posted April 18 2002

Rating: 8

This is a fun, fun play for the kids. Not as important a topic as your P2P people's "Heaven Needs Firemans". Thats a tough one but good. Keep up the god work.
A very fun play for kids (Rated by: Richard) Posted April 18 2002

Rating: 9

Because my wife and I have our very own puppet theater (alright, its a cardboard box with a whole cut in it) we were able to put this on for our kids. The whole modeling theme kept my daughter from sitting still. Great work.
