Short People

Description: Zacchaeus invited Jesus into his house. Maybe Jesus cannot come to our house in the way he came to Zacchaeus, but you know what? We can invite Jesus to come into our hearts and into our minds and into our lives.

I don't like using references to secular songs while teaching kids. And often, the children don't even know what song we're talking about. And if they do, so much the worse. "Short People" isn't exactly a song we want to draw kids' attention to.

Thanks for your terrific script! Recently we told that story in scripture and your version will just compliment it nicely! I like the idea of "Little People" and I'm sure the kids will enjoy it too, especially when the story teller is Crikey the Croc! Here in Australia, crocs are dangerous, but our Crikey is a huge hit. Best always, Terry
