Some of My Puppetry Background |
Q: Why do you write puppet scripts? What motivates you? |
I wrote a number of skits for my Church VBS and a family night that I led for kids of all ages and the adults |
Q: Tell us about your church or puppet organisation. |
At the time of writing the skits I was part of East Kelso Baptist Church in Kelso, WA. We had VBS, youth programs, a dinner theater and a mid-week family night. |
Q: How did you get started in puppets and what attracted you to this area? |
Not answered yet. |
Q: Where does your inspiration come from to write puppet scripts? |
Bible stories. Questions asked by the youth that needed to be answered. Sometimes I think God gives me inspiration. |
Q: What advice would you give to someone just starting out in puppetry? |
If you have an idea write it out. |
Q: Who are your favourite puppet characters and what do you like about them? |
Not answered yet. |
Q: What are the most important qualities in great puppet scripts? |
Tell the gospel story. Clarify a point in scripture. Make a point that might otherwise not be well received. |
Q: What would you do if you were a puppet? |
Sing |
