| Q: Why do you write puppet scripts? What motivates you? |
| I feel that the Lord has blessed me with a talent and it's so hard to find scripts to meet our needs. I enjoy writing and find it such a blessing to help others out. |
| Q: Tell us about your church or puppet organisation. |
| We are attempting to take simple puppet ministry to a whole new level. We are using multi-media techniques and special effects to bring the simple message of Christ's love to children. |
| Q: How did you get started in puppets and what attracted you to this area? |
| Miss Piggy when I was about 10. She was my first puppet and I always enjoyed making up skits where she was the main character. Back in 1996 our Sunday School suffered from getting children to come so puppets were a great way to keep the kids coming back and learning about God's love. |
| Q: Where does your inspiration come from to write puppet scripts? |
| The Lord. I feel that He created me to this unique ministry and I love teaching children about Him . Each show we do I get such joy out of the smiles on their faces. |
| Q: What advice would you give to someone just starting out in puppetry? |
| Don't quit. Find what works best for you and keep trying. Allow the Lord to open doors that are His will. Pracitce and have fun |
| Q: Who are your favourite puppet characters and what do you like about them? |
| I love Kermit the frog because he is not afraid to love a pig. The cookie monster because he chews with his mouth open and never swallows a cookie. And Oscar the Grouch because it isn't easy being green. |
| Q: What are the most important qualities in great puppet scripts? |
| I strong opening that gets their attention. A strong Biblcal application. A little laughter and an ending that leaves them wanting more. |
| Q: What would you do if you were a puppet? |
| If I were a puppet I would want to be in musicals.Kids love to sing. |
