Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord in vain. Dixie is a Horse, Dusty is a Dog Dixie: I'm bored, Dusty. Dusty: Why isn't the farmer's daughter training you like she usually does on Saturdays. Dixie: Well, she was training me. But she got in trouble and had to stop. Dusty: What happened? Dixie: She was training me and I accidentally stepped on her foot. She hollered out a bad word and when the farmer heard her, he sent her to her room. Dusty: (whispering) What was the bad word? Dixie: (whispering) God. Dusty: But God isn't a bad word, it's a good word! Dixie: But the farmer's daughter used it in a bad way. The farmer said that she needed to go to her room and ask God to forgive her for shouting His name in anger because she was taking the name of the Lord in vain and God said not to do that, you know. Dusty: Oh, I understand now. Dixie: I hope she uses more self-control next Saturday. Dusty: I hope so too. Maybe you could be a little more careful too. Next Saturday, don't step on her foot. Dixie: I'll try harder next time and I hope she will too! Dusty: Remember kids, never use God's name in the wrong way. Hey, Dixie, let's go chase cars! Dixie: Oh, Dusty, you know better! Time for you to use a little self-control. Dusty: You're right, Dixie. Let's go dig holes! Dixie: Dusty! You're impossible!
