This pidgin-talk is, if I read it correctly, a direct affront to the memory of Augustine, who was, of course an *African* and yet who spoke fluent Latin. A little intercultural sensitivity, please! If it weren't for the almost-helpful glossary at the end I would have rated this even lower. |

With the right accent, kids won't need to understand it to enjoy it! Kind of like eating at an ethnic restaurant (maybe you don't want to know what you ordered!). |

My kids at church wouldn't get it, but at least I enjoyed reading it. I always get those Nigerian letters on my e-mail. Anyway, is that a true story? I'd like to know more about the character and his quest in progressive sanctification. |
