A Wee Little Man

Description: When Carl finds Scooter weeping from the top of a tree, he tries to help Scooter solve his problems. Seems Scooter's returned the teasing he's recieved about being short with a little mistreating of his own. Carl explains how Zacchaeus felt when Jesus visited him and uses this scripture to convince Scooter that Jesus wants to befriend him also.

I like the script. It has a good meaning and as I read it I thought all kids can relate to having hurt feelings, because of being teased. Also being mean or wanting to be mean in revenge. Good lesson at end and I like the questions to ask the children.

We performed this for 1st-6th grade, and all enjoyed it. The story kept their attention and taught the lesson of Zaccheaus. Just what I was looking for.

This is a great script! Don't shy away from it because of it's length- it's well worth the time. We have a 3 foot tree in our house and we took it in to use as the tree that Scooter climbs. It was a great visual!
